ALEXANDRIA, La. — Deborah Lauren Pool, 54, formerly of New Orleans, died Friday, May 8, 2009, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria, La.
A private service will be at a later date under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Ms. Pool was born in Rome, Ga., the daughter of Lawrence Pool and Eleanor Silvey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Danielle Byrd and husband, Tommy; one son, Joshua Caleb Miller and wife, Sonya; four grandchildren, Austin Miller, Savanna McLaurin, Madison McLaurin and Jacob Miller; three sisters, Kathy Hennessey and husband, John, of New Orleans, Connie Wiley and fiancé, John O’Conner, of Rome, and Celeste Pool formerly of Natchez; one brother, Loftin Ginn of Alabama; four nephews; and two nieces.
Ms. Pool fought for a long time with her illness. May she rest in peace.
