BRANDON — Services for Jerry K. Spears, 46, of Brandon, who died Saturday, May 16, 2009, at his residence will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ray Holland and the Rev. Mitch Delaney officiating. Visitation will be from noon Tuesday until services begin.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Spears was born Feb. 14, 1963, in Carthage, the son of Jerry K. Spears and Becky Moore Spears.

He was a member of Trace City Baptist Church and was employed at W.W.L. Holdings at Nissan.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Boyette Spears of Brandon; three daughters, Amanda, Dacia and Jenna Spears, all of Brandon; one granddaughter, Melaina Spears of Brandon; parents, Jerry K. and Becky Spears of Natchez; three sisters, Carmen Stone of Transylvania, La., Alicia Shannon of Natchez; Shelly Golmon, of Vidalia; brother, Kelly “Bo” Spears of Natchez; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Buckles, RT. Forman, Spanky Brumfield, Jake Brumfield, Matthew Moore, Timothy Moore, Chris Hinson, Roger Norris, Bryan Belts and Robin Blake.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Trace City Baptist Church.
