NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Louise Garrity, 98, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary Basilica with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Garrity was born April 5, 1914, in Natchez, the daughter of Francis LeRoy Garrity and Catherine Elodie Butchart Garrity.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mildred Arnold Garrity; and three brothers, Francis LeRoy Garrity Jr., William Byron Garrity Sr. and Robert Thomas Garrity.
Survivors include one brother, Joseph J. Garrity; one cousin, George L. Peters; 13 nieces and nephews, Catherine G. Willard, Charles T. Garrity, William Byron Garrity Jr., DVM, Elodie G. Maier, Marie G. Davis, Mary Agnes Shell, Joseph G. Garrity, Robert T. Garrity Jr., Ronald Garrity, Richard Garrity, Gail G. Geary, Michael Garrity and Greg Garrity; and a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be William Byron Garrity Jr., DVM, Robert James Willard, Joseph G. Garrity, Robert S. Shell, P. Paul Maier and John Holyoak.
