Lavern Rabb

WOODVILLE — Services for Lavern B. Rabb, 82, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Church of Christ on Buffalo Road with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Rabb was born Jan. 7, 1927, near Brookhaven, the daughter of Luther Blount and Effie Givens Blount. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Rabb; and three sisters, Janet Hall, Joy Priest and Rachael Jenkins.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Hammack and husband, Elliott, of Woodville and Pam Cameron and husband, Gene, of Magnolia, Texas; six grandchildren, Howard Hammack, Michael Hammack, Rabb Daniel, John Stewart Daniel, Maggie Kleinpeter and Harrison Daniel; four great-grandchildren, Gracyn Kleinpeter, Natalie Hammack, Brooke Hammack and Ruston Kleinpeter; one sister, Sue Chancellor of Clanton, Ala.; and one brother, Bobby Blount of Port Vincent, La.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandson-in-law.
