Friday, Jan. 18:

Nicole B. McSwain, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count to run concurrently. Total fine set at $1,159.91.

Michelle Barnes, 34, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count to run concurrently. Total fine set at $1,152.29.

Sharon Lyvonne Grinnell, 50, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for four days served. Banned from Natchez Market 2. Fine set at $544.

Tuesday, Jan. 22:

Carlton J. Hoggatt, 22, charged with possession or carrying a concealed weapon — felony. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Out on bond.

Daimeon Collins, 30, charged with aggravated assault — extreme indifference. On motion of prosecutor and request of detective, case to be dismissed after further investigation.

Luis Patricia Godinez-Gonzales, 25, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344. Godinez-Gonzales was also charged with felony malicious mischief. Case dismissed — defendant has already paid $2,000 in restitution to the victim.

Charles Lee’Aaron Campbell, 24, charged with shoplifting — more than $500 (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Traneisha Hawkins-Holiday, 25, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 70 days with 50 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve 20 days in jail. Fine set at $120. Bond set at $45,000.

Kennon Calvin charged with aggravated assault – domestic violence. On motion of prosecutor and consent of court, this case is dismissed without prejudice for failure of the victim to cooperate with the prosecution.

Cynthia Smith, 52, charged with disturbing the peace. Case dismissed for failure to prosecute. Victim unable to be served — moved.

Melvin B. Little Sr., 69, found guilty of trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Isle of Capri Casino. Fine set at $294 minus $94 suspended. Must pay a fine of $200.

Lawrence Floyd pleaded guilty to DUI — first offense test refusal. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $730. Floyd was also charged with fleeing or eluding law enforcement. Case remanded to files in consideration of guilty plea on DUI.

Jermara Maxwell, 19, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Patrick Jenkins, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.
