NATCHEZ — Five of the six people who cleaned out an ATM machine after it malfunctioned at Magnolia Bluffs Casino this weekend caught another lucky break Friday.

The casino gave the five individuals until 4 p.m. to pay back the money they stole from an ATM kiosk machine at the casino.

Natchez Police Chief Danny White said the casino was prepared to proceed with charges if the money was not returned

“But all five people have stepped up and paid the money,” he said.

The sixth thief has not been identified, White said.

The machine apparently malfunctioned before it was incorrectly loaded and dispensed $100 bills instead of $1 bills.
