A.C. Hamilton

OXNARD, Calif. – Memorial services for A. C. Hamilton, 72, of Oxnard, who died Thursday, June 11, 2009, were Monday, June 22, 2009, at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad-Carroll.
Burial was at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Conrad-Carroll.
Mr. Hamilton was a veteran of the U.S. Army and proud of his service. He was a Mason of the 33rd degree. As a construction worker and man of many trades, he traveled the world and finally made his earthly home in Oxnard, Calif. There he was married. Mr. Hamilton was ordained as deacon by Mount Salem Bible Baptist Church in Oxnard Dec. 31, 2001. He enjoyed outdoor sports, camping and especially spending time with his wife and family.
Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Hamilton Sr.; mother, Josephine Hamilton; brothers, Otis Hamilton and Cardell Hamilton; and sister, Lillie Brown.
Survivors include his loving wife, Genivive Hamilton; son, Adulciano Hamilton; daughter, Andrea Gaines; step-sons, Ernest Woodfork, Malcom McDowell; step-daughters, Gena Morehead, Shammbliss Ingram and Latonya Johnson; granddaughter, Courtney Estes; brother, Charlie Hamilton Jr.; sisters, Sue Willie Washington, Elise Osbourne, Ruby Bright, Katie Murray, Bernice Bland; and a number of nieces, nephews, many who loved him.
