COLLINS — Services for Edgar Jenkins, 76, of Collins, who died Friday, June 19, 2009, at his residence in the Providence community, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rocky Valley Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Andrew Keyes officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Collins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Louisiana. After retirement from the construction industry in Las Vegas, he moved his residency to Collins.
Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses F. Scott and Adna Louise Jenkins.
Survivors include his wife, Bobby Fairley Jenkins; four daughters, Deborah T. McNeal of Natchez, Tennell Curtis of Taylorsville, Deborah McKinney of Las Vegas and Ella Graves of Collins; five sons, John Jenkins and James Jenkins, both of Taylorsville, John Graves, Johnny Graves and Kenton Graves, all of Las Vegas; 35 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
