NATCHEZ — Services for Curtis “Curt” Dunmore Sr., 84, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 26, 2009, in Ridgeland, will be at 11 a.m. today at Zion Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Birdon Mitchell Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Dunmore was born July 11, 1924, in Adams County, the son of Guy Dunmore and Margaret Birdie Dunmore. He was a retired educator.
Mr. Dunmore was a World War II veteran and received the Bronze Star, the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Annie Robson Dunmore; two daughters, Carol Ann Dunmore of Lancaster, Calif. and Angela D. Boykin of Burke, Va.; two sons, Curtis Dunmore Jr. of Natchez and Karl B. Dunmore and wife, Stephanie, of Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
