JONESVILLE — Services for James Alan Boothe, 47, of Harrisonburg, La., who died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz., will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville with the Rev. Ken Gilmore officiating.
Burial will follow at Old Catahoula Cemetery in Enterprise, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Boothe was born July 18, 1961, in Monroe, La., the son of J.R. Boothe and Mildred Boothe. He was employed by Hobgood Trucking as a truck driver. He attended Bellvue Baptist Church in Columbia, La.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Boothe of Baton Rouge and Samantha Boothe of Columbia; his mother of Harrisonburg; and three sisters, his twin, Julia Ford and husband, Chuck, of Denham Springs, La., Lori Ford and husband, Robert, of Sicily Island and Camille Boothe of Baton Rouge.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Boothe, Daniel Boothe, Daniel Binkley, Austin Ford, Jori Ford and Joey Ramage.
