FERRIDAY — Three men have been arrested in connection with the December armed robbery of two dairy bar employees in Ferriday.
Ferriday Police Chief Richard Madison said Moeck Hawkins, 26, John Juan, 18 and Aldre Wilkinson, 18, all of 216 S. Second St., were arrested on charges of armed robbery.
Hawkins was arrested Friday, while Juan and Wilkinson were arrested without incident by a joint task force of the Ferriday Police and the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Monday morning after an informant told police the men were at the Second Street address.
The robbery happened at approximately 8 p.m. Dec. 10, when suspects wearing masks and hoodies approached two employees in the parking lot of Chubby’s Dairy Bar demanding money from the businesses’ money bag, which one employee was carrying. Approximately $300 was stolen.
Madison said the identity of the three suspects and their connection with the robbery was discerned through investigation.
Wilkinson was also booked on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting, and Juan was booked on a warrant for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
None of suspects has been given a bond.
