Bilbo Ferguson

WOODVILLE — Services for Bilbo “Bill” Ferguson, 74, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Smith Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at East Cedar Rest Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Ferguson was born March 15, 1935, the son of Willie and Inez Stewart Ferguson. He was a 1959 graduate of Johnson High School. He was a member of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors, Mississippi Association of Minority Caucus and Southwest Mississippi Planning and Development.
Mr. Ferguson was a retired elected public official. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Annie S. Ferguson; his parents; grandparents; and special uncle, L.C. Stewart Sr.
Survivors include three children, Alicia Ferguson, Tracey Ferguson, both of Woodville, and Andrea Ferguson of Natchez; one godson, Kentrail Jackson of Jackson; two adopted sons, Jeffery Hayes Jr., and Alvin Fosselman Jr.; and four grandchildren, Aaronecia Smith, Jay Kelly III, Devin and Alvin Fosselman.
