Robert Carlton “Bobby” Bagbey

Ferriday — Services for Robert Carlton “Bobby” Bagbey, 72, of Ferriday, who died Friday, July 24, 2009, in Bossier City, La., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. in Stephenson Cemetery in Rayville, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Mr. Bagbey was born March 30, 1937, in Rayville, the son of Herschel O. Bagbey Sr. and Lucille Bagbey Ellis. He was a resident of Ferriday for more than 60 years.

He was preceded in death by is father.

Survivors include his mother; two brothers, Herschel O. Bagbey Jr. of Bossier City and Larry Bagbey of Augusta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
