MONROE, La. — Lester Wells scored four goals for Adams County Christian School, and Zach Pintard had a strong game at keeper as the Rebels topped River Oaks School 4-2 Wednesday.
Wells scored his goals in the ninth, 33rd, 64th and 71st minute of play, while Pintard stopped 26 shots on goal. River Oaks scored its two goals in the 34th and 51st minute.
“Overall, our guys played a very aggressive game in the wet, cold and mud,” ACCS head coach Jimmy Allgood said. “Lester had probably one of the best soccer matches he’s had so far. He made several breakaways with passes to him where he dribbled it in and got it by their keeper.”
ACCS (10-1-2) will play next Tuesay at Brookhaven Academy.
