NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Jewel Louise Zacchiroli, 86, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Conroe, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. David O’Conner officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

A Rosary prayer service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with visitation from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Zacchiroli was born July 2, 1926, in Florence, the daughter of Sol and Kizzie Shack. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica. Her favorite pastime in her younger years were gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Zacchiroli was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Zacchiroli; two sisters, Catherine Williams and Ellen Shack; and two brothers, Earl Shack and James Shack.

Survivors include one daughter, Rose Smith and husband, Charlie; one granddaughter, Chesi Smith; one sister, Gladys Peoples; two brothers, Thomas Shack and Charles Shack; and a number of nieces and nephews.
