NATCHEZ — Services for William Shane Seyfarth, 41, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Natchez with Dr. Doug Broome officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Shane was born June 6, 1971, in Natchez. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubie and Lulleen Nettles, John and Glynrose Seyfarth, Ellis Taylor and Willie Vee Cotten; one brother-in-law, Dean Arnold; and one nephew, Storm Cangemi.
Survivors include one loving son, Landon; one loving daughter, Macie; his parents, Thomas and Jane Cotten of Natchez and William and Connie Seyfarth of Ferriday; his grandmother, Virgie Taylor; three sisters, Dana McGivaren and husband, Chris, Janee Arnold and Missy Cangemi and husband, Paul; two brothers, Tee Cotten and wife, Angela, and Heath Seyfarth and wife, Amanda; and 10 nieces and nephews, Peyton, Rachel, Kristyn, Jordan, Caroline, Tripp, Cole, Katie, Tyler and Ethan.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Clements, Kelly Elveston, Blake Havard, Robert Segrest, Aaron Shermer and Todd Zizzi.
Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Britt, Sammy Corley, Trae James, Michael Williams and Walton Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Miss-Lou Relay for Life.
