NATCHEZ — Memorials services for Kennie Earl Middleton Sr., 59, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Fourth Street Church of Christ with the Rev. Wendell Green officiating.
Judge Middleton was born March 31, 1950, in Jefferson County, the son of Horace Stringer and Betty Mae Jackson Middleton.
Judge Middleton served as a chancery judge. He was a member of the Magnolia Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, National Bar Association and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He was also a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert Middleton, Horace Stringer Jr. and George Carver Stringer; one son, Khary O. Middleton; and two sisters, Raye Parker and Barbara Nell Alston.
Survivors include his wife, Claudine Middleton; two sons, Kennie Earl Middleton Jr. and Keegan Oman Middleton, all of Fayette; two sisters, Deloris Stringer of Chicago and Mary L. Davis of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two godsons, Carl Nichols of Jackson, Jamium Garfield and Leahman Jackson, both of Fayette; and a number of other relatives and friends.
