BUDE — Services for Charlie Cleon Bowman, 81, of Meadville, who died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 11 a.m. today at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Bowman was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Bude, the son of Charlie Bowman and Ollie Wilson Bowman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willie Bowman; one uncle, Wesley Bowman; and one aunt, Ruby Prather.
Survivors include one son, Gary Bowman; one daughter, Cathy Halford; three sisters, Mildred Lee, Ollie Nell Martin and Alleen Golman; four brothers, Connerly Bowman, Kenneth Bowman, Charles Bowman and Lonzo Bowman; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
