MEADVILLE — Services for Andy Benjamin “Ben” DeLozier Jr., 85, of Bude, who died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. today at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. DeLozier was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Collinwood, Tenn., the son of Andy Benjamin DeLozier Sr. and Eva Lawson DeLozier. He was retired from International Paper Company in Natchez after 36 years of service. He was also a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sylvia Soroka and Electra DeLozier; and two brothers, Quentin DeLozier and Kermit DeLozier.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Dunn DeLozier; four sons, Benny DeLozier and wife, Kathy, of Lawton, Okla., Daniel DeLozier and wife, Kay, of McCall Creek, Kenneth DeLozier and wife, Thelma, of Meadville and William DeLozier and fiancée, Sheramie Patterson of Holden, La.; three daughters, Brenda Holloway of Bude, Wanda Seale and husband, David, of Tampa, Fla., and Barbara Ross and husband, Mike, of McNair; two sisters, Glistura DeLozier of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Comellia Liles of Dallas; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
