COLUMBIANA, Ala. — Mary L. Manley, 67, of Columbiana, Ala., formerly of Natchez, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.
A private memorial service was Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Bethesda Methodist Church under the direction of Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana.
Mrs. Manley was born April 2, 1942, in Natchez, the daughter of Amos Newman and Clara Palmer Newman. She was the former manager of Bill’s Dollar Store and former manager of Tobacco Etc., both in Columbiana.
Survivors include her husband, Harry James Manley; one daughter, Mary Michelle Davis and husband, Billy; one son, Richard Coe Manley and wife, Connie; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Newman and wife, Glennell, of Meadville; eight sisters, Ida Mae Coley and husband, William, Nancy Day and husband, Adrian, and Elizabeth Jamison, all of Natchez, Peggy Myers of Baton Rouge, Saundria Stevens and husband, Lonnie, and Marilyn Liebig and husband, Gregg, all of Manchester, Tenn., Carolyn Weatherly of Athens, Tenn., and Betty Jo Green and husband, Ricky, of Berryville, Ark.; and a number of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
