JACKSON — Services for Kathleen Donaldson Wallace, 60, of Jackson, who died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at her residence, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Pearl Street African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Burial will follow at Garden Memorial Park under the direction of Lakeover Funeral Home in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 22, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Leondus and Gladys Griffin Donaldson. She was united in holy matrimony with Flynn J. Wallace Jr., Feb. 9, 1974. To this union, three sons and one daughter were born.
Mrs. Wallace was a Christian family woman, dedicated wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Tommy Winston Sr.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Flynn; three sons, Flynn J. Wallace III of Macon, Ga., Derrick Timothy Wallace and Kyle Leondus Wallace, both of Atlanta; one daughter, Valarie Wallace of Jackson; two brothers, Leondus Donaldson of Munford, Tenn., and Willie L. Donaldson and Bennie, both of Oceanside, Calif.; four sisters, Edna Donaldson of Natchez, Jaylynn E. Fleming of Athens, Ga., Elizabeth Zachary of Dallad, Texas and Doris Jointer of Brookhaven.
