NATCHEZ — Students, teachers and family gathered at McLaurin Elementary School Monday to say goodbye — and happy birthday — to a cowboy.
Randy Foster, who was a McLaurin fourth grader last year, would have been 11 years old Monday. He died in June in a horse accident.
His classmates, teachers and family members paid tribute to Foster with a birthday cake, ice cream and balloons.
