NATCHEZ — Services for Pero “Fuzzy” Johnson Jr., 81, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clearmount Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at New Beginnings Cemetery, Mount Plain site, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 26, 1928, in Jefferson County, the son of Pero Johnson Sr. and Annie Mae Bass Johnson. He loved fishing and was a number one Natchez Bulldog fan. He was employed by Feltus Brothers Hardware as a warehouse supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Barbara Ann Strauder; two sisters, Laura Logan and Mable Anderson; and one brother, Jimmy Johnson Sr.
Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Mae Johnson; three daughters, Dorothy Carter, Jeannie Jones and husband, Willie, and Benita F. Watson; three sons, Joseph W. Johnson and wife, Willie Mae, Glenn H. Watson and Timothy Ward; stepmother, Annie L. Johnson; one aunt, Rosie Perryman; seven brothers; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
