Week of Nov. 16-20:

Blake Campbell pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Erika Bumgarner pleaded guilty to contributing to the neglect of a child.

Daniel Bumgarner pleaded guilty to contributing to the neglect of a child. Bumgarner was also charged with contributing to the neglect of a child. Case remanded to files.

Joseph D. Ratliff pleaded guilty to 10 counts of false pretense.

Sharon Ford pleaded guilty to simple assault. Ford also pleaded guilty to malicious mischief.

Jerriod Hauer charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Thursday, Nov. 15:

Adrian Williams was found guilty by a jury of murder in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to imprisonment for life in the State Penitentiary. Must pay all court costs and fees.

Wednesday, Nov. 14:

Brian Granger is adjudicated guilty for prescription forgery. Sentenced to five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Upon being released from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Granger is ordered and directed to be placed in the Restitution Center under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections until such time as he has paid the amount of $500.

Friday, Nov. 16:

Terrinika Lamonetta White, 20, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended. Fine set at $274.

Benjamin Donald, 41, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $444.

Bobby Earl Ford Jr., 22, charged with disturbing the peace. Case remanded to files at request of officer.

Gary Joshua Juneau, 30, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Pamela N. Juneau/Domecq, 33, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Joseph L. Sturdivant, 29, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Monday, Nov. 19:

Heather Hollis, 36, charged with simple assault – domestic violence. On request of victim and consent of prosecution and pay of $100 court cost by Dec. 19, this case is remanded to files, dismiss after one year as stale case.

Lataija Lashae Hurts, 26, found guilty of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $344.

Christopher D. Johnson, 27, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Emerald Eden Wheeler, 19, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $294.

Tuesday, Nov. 20:

Jacob Collin Simmons, 22, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case remanded to files in consideration of waivers on felonies. Simmons was also charged with burglary — commercial building, cars, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Simmons also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor escape. Sentenced to pay restitution of $600 to municipal court for damage to jail.

Barontina Dorsey, 23, charged with burglary – commercial building, cars, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jasmine LaSha Herrington, 23, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Case dismissed without prejudice for lack of probable cause of crime.

Jenna Williams, 51, charged with six counts of uttering a forgery. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Marquacisu Leaser Robinson, 19, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.
