VICKSBURG — Services for Wanda B. Callen, 63, of Vicksburg, who died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. Curley officiating.
Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
Mrs. Callen was a native of Natchez and had lived most of her life in Vicksburg. She was retired from the Vicksburg Medical Center and the Vicksburg Clinic as a cashier. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, John Callen; one son, Chris Callen and wife, Sylvia; one daughter, Tracy C. Evans; one brother, Marvin Dampier and wife, Jo, all of Vicksburg; two sisters, Juanita Scott of Tampa, Fla., and Darlene Smith and husband, Robert, of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Kristen D. Evans; one step-grandson, Edward Herring; one step-granddaughter, Angie Warnock and husband, Josh, all of Vicksburg; four step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Elfer, Edward Herring, Josh Warnock, David Lyons, Michael Bailey and Steve Krapac.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul Pierce III, Dr. Paul Pierce IV, Dr. Martin Newcomb, Dr. Stephen Zachow, Kimberly Fuller, ACNP, Parish of St. Michael Catholic Church, Providence Hospice of Vicksburg and River Region Emergency Room staff and physicians.
