NATCHEZ — Services for Jo Doris Wilcher, 89, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Murfreesboro, will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darian Duckworth officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Wilcher was born April 25, 1920, in Hebron, the daughter of Daniel and Mattie Gunn Graves. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clinton Wilcher, who died in 1998; and one daughter, Karen Rebecca Wilcher.

Survivors include one son, Dickey Wilcher and wife, Sue, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter, Kathryn Wright and husband, Pleas, of Murfreesboro; and five grandchildren, Wes Wilcher, Bobby Wilcher, Pleas Wright, Clint Wright and Karen Wright.

Pallbearers will be Wes Wilcher, Bobby Wilcher, Pleas Wright, Clint Wright and Michael Essary.

Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
