WOODVILLE — Services for Linda Nettles Cavin, 53, of Woodville, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Church of Christ with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.

Mrs. Cavin was born June 18, 1956, in Natchez, the daughter of Jennings B. “J.B.” Nettles and Mildred DeLaughter Rogers Nettles. She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Church of Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roger Nettles; and infant daughter, Baby Cavin.

Survivors include her husband, Justin Cavin Sr.; two sons, Justin “Jay” Cavin Jr., and wife, Christina, and Jennings Daniel “Dan” Cavin; one daughter, Catherine Sadie Cavin; three sisters, Frances Meason, Bonnie Lazarus and Brenda Nettles; and three brothers, Charles Nettles, Jennings Nettles and Steve Nettles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Corinth Church of Christ, 10488 U.S. 61 North, Woodville, MS 39669.
