NATCHEZ — Services for Harold Daniel “Sonny” Allgood Jr., 59, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cliff Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Allgood was born Jan. 21, 1950, in Lincoln County, the son of Harold Daniel Allgood Sr. and Cleo Louise Crane Allgood.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Allgood; two daughters, Elizabeth Freeman and husband, Curt, and Danielle Russell and husband, Jason, all of Natchez; six grandchildren, Chelsea Freeman, Natalie Russell, Allison Freeman, Kathryn Freeman, Hannah Russell and Carrie Russell; his parents; two sisters, Judy Smith and husband, Wayne, and Theresa Ballard and husband, Henry; one brother, Henry Allgood and wife, Deanne, all of Brookhaven; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and brothers-in-law.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.
