MEADVILLE — Services for Bessie M. Ezell, 75, of Meadville, who died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Brookhaven, will be at 11 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Ezell was born May 10, 1937, in Bude, the daughter of John and Anna Watson Lee. She was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Ezell was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, John E. Lee Jr., Charles E. Lee and Hilton Lee.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Ezell; three daughters, Valerie Aldridge and husband, David “Clutch” of Meadville, Sharwyn McDonald and husband, Wayne, of Carrollton, Ga., and Stacy Junker of Greenwell Springs, La.; two sisters, Jessie Marie Terrell and husband, Pete, of Roxie and Billie Ann Auld and husband, Clyde, of Natchez; one brother, Freddie Lee of Meadville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
