FERRIDAY — Services for Jameon L. “Slick” Green, 28, of Sicily Island, La., who died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at his residence following a long illness, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Sun Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery in Ferriday under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born Aug. 24, 1981, in Natchez, the son of Clyde and Ruby Atkins Green.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Camisha Kelly Green; his mother; four sons, Jameon G. Tolliver, Tyreke Tolliver, Jameon Green Jr., and Camireon Green, all of Sicily Island; two brothers, Clyde Green Jr., of Sicily Island and Donald Franklin of Ferriday; four sisters, Linda Atkins of Ferriday, Cassandra Atkins, Shena Green and Maranda Green, all of Sicily Island; grandmother, Classie Atkins of Springfield, Mass.; special cousin, Tiffany Davis; special nephew, Aaron Atkins, both of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
