NATCHEZ—Graveside services for Sandra J. Boyte, 58, of Natchez, who died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Flach officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until 9:40 a.m. at New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Boyte was born Jan. 21, 1951 in Greenville, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy Coleman Shores. Sandy was loved by all she came in contact with. She enjoyed raising her children and serving the public through acts with the Lion’s Club. Sandy served as Treasurer and was recently the Tail Twister. She also worked closely with the Natchez Children’s Home as children always had a special place in her heart. She looked forward to spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandsons, Austin and Maddox. During her illness she was cared for by Glenn Bringol and his family, Maurene Bringol, Judy Berkley and Christie Anderson. Special thanks to all who helped and loved Sandy in her time of need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Melba Rushin and two brothers, Fred and Danny French.

Survivors include three daughters, Dee Boyte, Melissa Boyte and Michelle Boyte, all of Natchez; two grandsons, Austin Boyte and Maddox Mizell; significant other, Glenn Bringol of Vidalia, and one sister, Martha Strange of Granbury, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Dee Barron, Lee Mizell, Daniel Boyte, Mike Ellard, Wayne Tullos, Jeremy Bryant, Reggie West and Glynn Laird.

Honorary pallbearer will be Josh Hilton.
