NATCHEZ — Services for Ruby Mazique Ware, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at noon Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. J.L. Hammitte officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Ware was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert and Bessie Mazique. She graduated valedictorian from St. Francis High School. She was retired from Security Pacific National Bank.

Mrs. Ware was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, the Adult Sunday school, the Missionary Society and Women of Divine Ministry.

She had an outpouring love beyond measure for pleasing her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a supreme angel for God toward showing love for others.

Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Willie and James Mazique; one stepson, James Ware Jr.; and twin grandsons, Antwan and Dewan Ware.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, James Ware; four sons, Robert Joseph Ware, Michael Anthony Ware, Bradrick Edward Ware, all of Natchez, and Stephen Darryl Ware of Los Angeles; two stepsons, Carl A. Ware of Natchez and Terrance Ware of Georgia; two stepdaughters, Doris Ware Maynard of Natchez and Avonne Walker Ware of Missouri City, Texas; one brother, Charles Mazique of Los Angeles; three sisters, Roberta Green of Detroit, Henrietta Malone of Chicago and Netta Parsons of Tennessee; two daughters-in-law, Deanna Ware and Ursula Ware; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one special nephew, L. Barnes; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church family.
