Ms. Maxine Shaw and Mr. Melvin Johnson announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Margaret Shaw to Justin McDonald, son of Mr. Vernell McDonald Sr. and the late Mrs. Betty Jean Evans McDonald, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received her bachelor of science degree in educational psychology. She is also a graduate of the University of West Alabama where she received a master of science degree in counseling and an education specialist degree in school counseling. Miss Shaw is employed by Community Counseling Services as a mental health therapist.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Willie Shaw and Mrs. Cornelia Washington Shaw. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. Robert Johnson Sr. and Mrs. Margaret Pollard Johnson, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology. He is employed by Polo Custom Products as a plant engineer.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. Metcalfe Evans and Mrs. Arnetter Evans of Natchez.

The couple will have a private wedding with friends and family attending.
