NATCHEZ — Services for Lucille Butler Green, 92, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at her residence, will be at noon Saturday at Zion Chapel Church No. 2 in Kingston with the Rev. Walter L. Smith Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Green was born March 13, 1917, the daughter of Robert and Harriet Jackson. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Green was a Methodist and served on the Mother Board at Zion Chapel Church No. 2.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Green Sr.; two daughters, Mary Louise Gaines and Deloris Edwards; two sisters, Marie Barnes and Rena Barnes; one brother, Joseph Butler; and one daughter-in-law, Celestine Butler.
Survivors include five daughters, Marie Conner and Bonnie Hatfield and husband, the Rev. Anthony Hatfield, all of Missouri City, Texas, Mamie White and husband, Travis, Jellena Johnson and husband, Randolph, and Shirley Dawson and husband, Arthur, of Natchez; five sons, Mark Butler, Hollis Green Jr. and wife, Louise, Clarence Green and wife, Ethel, and James Green, all of Natchez, and Luke Green and wife, Bertha, of McComb; one sister, Hattie M. Davis of Arkon, Ohio; two goddaughters, Connie Green and Latisha Butler; two sisters-in-law, Rose Marie Green of Natchez and Cassie Amos of Middletontown, Ohio; 45 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; 56 great-great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-great-grandchildren.
