FERRIDAY — Services for Dollie Davis Breland, 67, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel .

Burial will follow at Manifest Cemetery in Jonesville under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Breland was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Jonesville, the daughter of Jessie Davis Sr. and Bertha Graves Davis. She a retired radio dispatcher for the Town of Ferriday and Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cathy Taylor; and one brother, Morris Davis.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Jones; one son, Fred Taylor and wife, Nicole, of Ferriday; two daughters, Sharon Myers and husband, David, of Clayton and Theresa Carter and husband, Kevin, of West Memphis, Ark.; three brothers, Jessie Davis Jr. and wife, Rosalie, Lucion Davis and wife, Sue, and Alvin Davis, all of Ferriday; one sister, Dora King and husband, Ward, of Vidalia; seven grandchildren, Fred Taylor IV and wife, Catherine, Jeremy Taylor and Mackenzie Taylor, all of Ferriday, Christopher Carter and Aaron Carter, both of West Memphis; Samantha Myers of Clayton and Harley Taylor of Taylorville, La.

The family will receive guests at the home of Jessie Davis Jr., 145 Twin Oaks Road in Vidalia immediately following the burial.
