Mrs. Gary Brantley Jones (Amy Gay Callon)

Amy Gay Callon of Natchez and Gary Brantley Jones of Monroe, La., were married Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., at St. Francis at the Point Episcopal Church in Point Clear, Ala., with the Rev. Canon Zabron A. Davis officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Lindsey Callon of Natchez, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Preston Jones of Tallulah, La., and Mrs. Marjorie Marie McElwee of Monroe.

Grandparents of the couple are Mrs. Sim Chase Callon Sr. and the late Mr. Sim Chase Callon Sr., and Mrs. Herbert Harrison Gay and the late Mr. Herbert Harrison Gay, all of Natchez, Mrs. Emmett Preston Jones and the late Mr. Emmett Preston Jones of Shreveport, La., and the late Dr. and Mrs. Newell McElwee Jr. of Delhi, La.

Music for the ceremony included a violinist, flutist, cellist, and trumpeter and was provided by Steve Harmon and Company. Scripture readers were Rudolph Richard Pollan of Dallas and Anne-Marie Bruner-Tracey of Norfolk, England. Program attendant was Mary Cameron McArthur of Ridgeland.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Frederick Lindsey Callon. She wore a bridal gown designed by Carolina Herrera. The body of the Columbine gown was made of ivory silk georgette with soft tiers of feathered silk chiffon. It featured a “V” neckline in front and back, as well as a front slit and a satin ribbon belt. The gown’s body skimming silhouette flowed delicately into a chapel-length train. She wore a double layer elbow and cathedral-length veil also designed by Carolina Herrera.

Lauren Winston Callon of Dallas was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Brooks Callon of Jackson, Katherine Cestia Callon of Natchez and Dr. Sara Jones Klug of Monroe. They wore dusty shale silk chiffon short dresses with bodices of their choice designed by J. Crew.

Ella Ruth Klug of Monroe was flower girl.

Gary Preston Jones, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Lindsey Harrison Callon of Natchez, John Towne Hopper, Jr. of Monroe and Joseph Gilliam Storey of Dallas.

Harrison Sim Callon of Natchez and Oliver Charles Klug of Monroe were ring bearers.

Ushers were John Toben Guillory of Monroe and Christopher Evan Lancaster of West Monroe.

A reception was held at Julep Point at the Grand Hotel, Point Clear, Ala., following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple lives in Monroe.
