Warren Lasyone

FERRIDAY — Services for Warren P. Lasyone, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, in Natchez, will be at 2 p.m. today at Church of Christ of Ferriday with Ministers John Dickson and Waymon Swain officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Lasyone was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Magnolia, Ark., the son of Walter and Jewel Lasyone. His employment included the oil field and trucking industry.
Mr. Lasyone was a member of Church of Christ of Ferriday. He was a resident of Vidalia for 33 years and moved to Natchez in the 1950s.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Faye Lasyone; one daughter, Ruth Brown and husband, Rick, of Vidalia; two sons, Ed Lasyone and wife, Erin, of Heber Springs, Ark., and Jay Lasyone of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Landon and Lukas Lasyone and Aubrie and Abbie Lasyone; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Dunaway and husband, Denver, of Prentiss; and four-legged grandson, Patch.
Pallbearers will be Landon Lasyone, Lukjas Lasyone, Rick Brown, J.L. Barker, Glenn Davis and David Marchbanks.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Louisiana Home Care and caregiver, Lubertha.
