PORTLAND, Ore. — Presley Kittredge Ewing, 55, of Portland, Ore., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, in Portland.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cremation and Burial Care of Oregon.
Presley was born Oct. 2, 1956, in Natchez, the son of P.K. Ewing Jr. and Ella Ewing. He was a graduate of Callaway High School in Jackson and served 10 years in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid traveler and naturalists.
Presley canoed, camped and hiked his way around the world. He was known for his delightful sense of humor which grew from his keen observation of human nature.
Presley is survived by his daughter, Trista; two sisters, Fairfax Ewing and Diana Ewing Nutter and husband, Jim; one brother, Robert Coffer Ewing; and a number of nieces and nephews, including his niece, Mariel Parman.
His friends and family will ever miss his kind and generous spirit.
