NATCHEZ — Services for Barbara Jean Trask, 59, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Trask was born Feb. 4, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Wesley Snell Sr. and Darskey Snell. She attended Adams County public schools.
Ms. Trask was a homemaker and loved to cook. She was Baptist.
Ms. Trask was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Norah A. Louisville; two sisters, Jacqueline Snell Johnson and Annie Ruth Cain; one brother, Wesley Snell Jr.; and one grandson, Jacquez M. Trask.
Survivors include three children, Emmith Snell and wife, LaTonya, of Charlotte, N.C., Yterial Monique King and husband, Kemet, of Horn Lake and Earnest “Tiger” Trask of Natchez; two sisters, Warrene Killian and husband, Gregory, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Georgia Fells and husband, William, of Fayette; three brothers, Levan Snell and wife, Kweenie, of Buffalo, Johnny Carradine and the Rev. Charles Carradine and wife, Sherry, all of Fayette; three grandchildren, Chandrani Alford of Charlotte, Jaylon Trask and Jace Trask, both of Houston, Texas; a special friend, Leroy Butler; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
