NATCHEZ — Services for Carrie Lee Lott Boutwell, 96, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgantown Baptist Church with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Boutwell was born July 7, 1913, in Sumrall, the daughter of John Calvin and Lucretia Anne Lott. She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church for 56 years. She loved her church and her God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Luie Boutwell; and nine sisters and brothers, Virgil, Vernon, Howard, Annie Lou, Edna May, Marguerite, Willie Ray, Harvey and Randolph.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Boutwell and wife, Kathy, of Houston, Texas and Michael Boutwell and wife, Angie, of Columbus; two granddaughters, Ashley Boutwell and Louanna Boutwell; two grandsons, Forrest Boutwell and Dallas Boutwell; four great-grandchildren, Logan Boutwell, Gunner Boutwell, Chance Boutwell and Presley Kate Boutwell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Hudson, Gillis Bland, Jodi Bland, Don Hicks, Chuck Binns and Glynn Allen.
