NATCHEZ — The family of a Natchez man is seeking information about his whereabouts. He hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.
Ronald Johnson, 20, was last seen when an acquaintance dropped him off at his truck, which was parked at his cousin’s residence on Martin Luther King Jr. Street, said Johnson’s father, Ronald Chatman.
The truck hasn’t moved, however, and the family hasn’t heard from Johnson since 2 p.m. Tuesday — no phone calls, no text messages and no response to messages left on Facebook. That’s atypical of him, Chatman said.
“My son calls every day, and never goes a day without calling me or calling his mother,” he said. “His boss hasn’t heard from him either.”
Chatman said Johnson is not a typical 20-year-old, and described him as smart and well-behaved.
“My son doesn’t follow people who do wrong,” Chatman said. “I know he wouldn’t do something crazy.”
Johnson’s parents have filed a missing person report wth the Natchez Police Department, and said he is 5-feet-3-inches tall, weighing 110 pounds. He has brown eyes and a scar above his right eyes, and was last seen wearing a pair of black Levi jeans and a white T-shirt.
Anyone with information about where Johnson might be should contact his mother, Victoria Brown, at 601-392-1316 or Chatman at 601-597-6028.
Those with information can also contact the Natchez Police Department at 601-445-5565.
