1918 – 2010

NATCHEZ — Services for Margaret Lott Biglane Steed, who joined the Lord Monday, March 22, 2010, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with deacons Clair Shields and Tim Welch officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.

Margaret was born in 1918, in Vicksburg, the daughter of Leigh Lee and Alice Lott. She was a retired licensed practical nurse; a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia; the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class; and a resident of Adams County Nursing Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Modine, Addie, Clara, Sue Alice and Vera; two brothers, Johnny and Lee; and a faithful, loving companion, her Chihuahua, Ellé.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Stiner of Vidalia; three sons, Tommy Biglane and wife, Linda, Walter Biglane and wife, Dia, all of Natchez, and Billy Biglane and wife, Lynette, of Ocean Springs; five grandchildren, Casa Stiner-Chapman of Memphis, Tenn., Dayne Stiner of Tacoma, Wash., Leneé Biglane Rogers of Dallas, Megan Biglane of Ocean Springs and Lauren Mullins of Natchez; four great-grandchildren, Charles Patrick Rogers of Dallas, Tiffany Chapman of Paducah, Ky., Brittany Chapman of Memphis and Emerald Hull of Natchez; and one great-great-grandchild, Edward Liam Gearhart of Paducah.

Pallbearers will be Jon Betts, Derrick Cleveland, Mike Mullins, Bobby Paxton, Dayne Stiner and Sid Woolfe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Patrick Rogers and the members of Faithful Workers Sunday School Class.
