NATCHEZ — Graveside servcies for Betty Jean Stevens Everhart, 72, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Natchez Communitty Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. today at Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Victor Stewart officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Everhart was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Chicago, the daughter of Sam Clarence Stevens and Lillian Ethel O’Conner Stevens.

Mrs. Everhart was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donnie Ellis; one son, Fred Zegar; three sisters, Frances Merrit, Nancy Langabehn and Mary Lou Stevens.

Survivors include five children, Debbie Young and Beth Hite, both of Natchez, Jackie Everhart and wife, Maggie of Alabama, Sandra Ezell and Jerry Dunigan of Natchez and Mark Everhart and wife, Cheryl of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Tara Brown, Daryl Hite, Christopher Hite and wife, Jennifer, Jessica Ezell and Christopher Grace, Mark Allen Everhart Jr. and Nikki DeZell; four great-grandchildren, Michael Brown, Christopher Lennon Grace, Avah Ryleigh Everhart and Caden Tate Kossum; special firends, Margie Pullen, Nita Delaney and Robert Woods; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Hite, Christopher Hite, Mark Allen Everhart, Jerry Dunigan, Timmy Morris and Christopher Grace.
