FERRIDAY — Services for Willie Lee Hill, 97, of Ferriday, who died Friday, April 2, 2010, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Greater St. Reed Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Ms. Hill was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Willetts, La., the daughter of Louis and Carrie Brown Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four children, Thelma Anna Ruth, Roosevelt and Vernell Thomas Sr.

Survivors include one son, James E. Thomas of Chicago; four daughters, Rosetta Mack of Oakland, Calif., Glinda F. Thomas and husband, Pete Morales, Maxine Duncan and husband, Antonne, all of Ferriday, and Lillie M. Fleming of Detroit; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
