VIDALIA — Services for Jeannette W. Porter, 65, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, April 10, 2010, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gaylon Dawson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Porter was born Feb. 3, 1945, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Lee Watson and Juanita Bartlett Watson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Annette W. Masters and one brother, William Watson.

Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Roberson and husband Jason of Bradford, Ark., Janet Ferguson and husband Mike of Bertrandville, La., and Carla Gentry and husband Fred of Gulfport.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nephews and one niece, Cathy Whatley of Vidalia.

Pallbearers will be Louis Calhoun, Johnny Bo Roberts, Mike Ferguson, Justin Boyles, Samuel Boyles and Shane Boyles.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Whatley.
