NATCHEZ — Services for Annie Bell Cameron, 80, of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fourth Street Church of God with Bro. Wendall Greene officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Archie C. Curtis Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Cameron was born June 29, 1929, in Detroit, the daughter of Ernest and Leola Jones. She attended Detroit public schools and was employed as a cook. She was retired. She enjoyed reading, watching westerns and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis Cameron; two children, Leslie Cameron and Donnel Cameron; five siblings; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Cameron and wife, Lawanda, and Dwight Bernadina Cameron, all of Natchez; two brothers, Willie Jones and wife, Dorothy, and Lester Jones and wife, Mae Lou, all of Detroit; 15 grandchildren; three special nieces, Dorothy Johnson, Jessie Smith and Nola Lee; and three special friends, Mable Champ, Patricia Mongo and Vertie C. Page.
Pallbearers will be Joel Jackson, Kenny King, Charles Walker, Brian Thompson, and Willie Earl Lee.
