FERRIDAY — Services for Kenneth “Fuzz” Sanford, 52, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Whittington officiating.

Burial will follow at Carlton Family Cemetery in Jonesville under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Sanford was born Dec. 23, 1957, in Jonesville, the son of Clyde Leroy Sanford and Vera Carlton Sanford.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Dale Sanford.

Survivors include his parents of Ferriday; one brother, Delton Sanford and wife, Loretta, of Natchez; one sister, Cindi Loyed and Brian Scuilli, both of Ferriday; 10 nieces and nephews, Tommy Sanford, Timothy Sanford, Alicia Beach, Connie Richardson, Jana Sanford, Gail Loyed, Jacob Loyed, Elizabeth Loyed, Kimberly Scott and Joey Scott; nine great-nieces and nephews; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and lifelong friends, Preston Briggs and Joey Davis.

Pallbearers will be Preston Briggs, Joey Davis, James Cupit, Dickie Evans, Stewart Evans, Wayne Thompson, John Dobson and Sammy Wiley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Carlton and Joey Scott.
