Glory Flores

FAYETTE — Services for Glory J. Flores, 63, of Fayette, who died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Adams County Nursing Facility, will be at noon Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.

Repast will immediately follow in the church Fellowship Hall.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Flores was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Fayette, the daughter of Jack Perryman and Rosia G. Perryman. She was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she served as an usher. Not only did she work authentically in her church, she served her community as well as a school board member for the Jefferson County Schools for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Albert Stampley and Wesley Payman.

Survivors include her husband, Michael M. Flores Jr. of Port Richey, Fla.; her mother of Stampley; two sons, Robert Felton Jr. and wife, Monica, of Fort Worth, Texas and Michael Flores III; one daughter Gretchen Flores, both of Stampley; nine grandchildren, Joshua Felton, Antione Felton, Lakeali Felton, Tyrone Brinkley, Terrica Felton, Keloni Lopez, Samiyah Flores, Mikel Walters and Genesys Flores; two sisters, Ruby Stampley of Stampley and Veronica Stampley of McNair; four brothers, Obdiah White of Stampley, James Hall and wife, Valentina, Darren Colenberg Sr. and wife, Cheryl, and Lee Felton, all of McNair; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
