NATCHEZ — Services for J.L. Burt, 83, of Natchez, will be at 3 p.m. today at Abundant Life Church.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Brookhaven.

Mr. Burt was preceded in death by his wife, Vita Burt; one son, Walter Lee Burt; one granddaughter, Wanda Sue Floyd; four brothers, Percy, Emmitt, Zollie and Oliver Burt; and four sisters, Ethel Burt, Juanita Raney, Reba Sanders and Ira Lee Buie.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Burt of Natchez and Joyce Walker of Sicily Island; one son, Ronnie Burt of Queen Creek, Ariz.; three brothers, W.C. Buie of Waco, Texas, James Buie of Clinton and Bobby Buie of Natchez; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
