LISMORE, La. — Services for Janice Loraine Enterkin, 74, of Lismore, La., who died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lismore Baptist Church with the Rev. Mack Walker and the Rev. Stan Wyant officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Enterkin was born Nov. 27, 1935, in Tullos, La., the daughter of Ayliffe L. Whatley and Neva M. Whatley-Williams.

She was a homemaker and an active member of Lismore Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James A. Enterkin; one son, Mark Enterkin and wife, Shirley; one daughter, Jenna Williams and husband, Kenny; one brother, Ayliffe L. “Buddy” Whatley and wife, Linda; stepfather, William A. Williams and wife, Lynette; four grandchildren, Heather Enterkin, James Enterkin, Steve Enterkin and Kaci Shepard; four great-grandchildren, Aaron and Becky Arnold and Avery Shepard and Trevor Bolyer; and a number of friends and loving church family.

Pallbearers will be Avery Shepard, Buddy Whatley Jr., Dean Shepard, James B. Enterkin, Kenny Williams and Steve Enterkin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Bolyer, William Whatley and William Williams.
